Our local supermarket closed for renovations. One night, my best friend and I decided to create a Facebookpage "I miss the Colruyt in Merelbeke". It was an unexpected succes!
Colruyt reached out to us, surfing the wave of our local engagement. It all ended after about 6 months with a grand opening, an overwhelming reception, and thousands of local shoppers invested in our story.

The official opening was a huge success, not in the least because of the enormous fan following we generated on Facebook.
