G.R.A.C.E.

 Together with Prof. Marc Cools and his doctoral assistant Mathias Desmet from the University of Ghent (faculty Law and Criminology) , we founded a research and knowledge center in March of 2022.

GRACE, which stands for Ghent Research institute for Art and cultural heritage Crime and law Enforcement, unites the academic world and practitioners on art and cultural heritage crime. Members of the network include representatives of the local and federal police, customs, the departments of Art Sciences, Chemistry, Archeology and Criminology at Ghent University, the Museum of Fine Arts Ghent, FARO and partners from the private security sector.
